§ 23-3. Revocation of licenses for alcoholic beverage violation or for transporting persons for immoral purposes.

  • Any license issued for the operation of a public service automobile or bus business, or for driving a public service automobile or bus, plying the streets for hire, upon conviction of the driver of such vehicle of:

    (1)

    Transporting, having in possession, or selling any alcoholic liquors, or otherwise violating any of the alcoholic beverage ordinances of the city; or

    (2)

    Transporting from place to place within the city any person for immoral purposes shall be immediately revoked by the recorder and no new license shall be granted such operator or driver during the calendar year to engage the same character or kind of business.
